Chief Operating Officer (COO) £43,000 pro rata (21 hours per week - £24,000 pa) 2 year fixed term contract


Welsh Rowing, is the national governing body for Rowing in Wales. We are determined to build a vibrant and strong rowing community in schools, clubs and strategic water sports venues across Wales. Effective partnerships will support the successful development of elite rowing performers whilst contributing to the life and health of thousands of enthusiasts throughout Wales.

Welsh Rowing is now seeking to appoint a part time Chief Operating Officer (COO) to build on the existing good work and continue to develop and implement our vision. The COO will be responsible for creating a high performance culture, focusing on leadership, people development and accountability. In addition, the COO will be responsible for increasing income and capitalising on commercial opportunities whilst ensuring excellent customer service.

Applicants must be qualified to degree level or equivalent and have management experience within the sport and leisure industry. Salary £43,000 pro rata (21 hours per week, 2 years fixed term post). Location: Cardiff
